FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
Yes. A consultation is an essential part of understanding your goals, reviewing relevant medical history and assessing suitability. Treatment should only be recommended when appropriate, and some procedures may require additional clinical assessment or prescribing.
No. The consultation is an opportunity to discuss your concerns and understand the options. You can take time to consider the information, and there is no obligation to proceed unless a clearly disclosed booking or consultation fee applies.
You are welcome to tell me what you have in mind. However, a requested treatment is not automatically appropriate. Suitability will be assessed, and an alternative or no treatment may be recommended where appropriate.
That depends on your concerns, medical history, skin, facial anatomy and expectations. Your consultation will help establish which options, if any, may be suitable.
TREATMENTS
This varies according to the treatment, the area treated, the products or equipment used and individual factors. During your consultation, you will be given information relevant to the specific treatment being considered. No duration or outcome can be guaranteed.
Some treatments may be performed as a single session, while others may be planned as a course or require future review. This depends on the treatment and your individual needs. Any proposed schedule and associated costs should be discussed before you decide.
Recovery varies. Some procedures may cause temporary redness, swelling, tenderness or other effects. The likely recovery period and any relevant restrictions will be explained for the proposed treatment.
No. All procedures carry potential risks, and some complications can be serious. The nature and likelihood of relevant risks depend on the treatment and the individual. You should receive appropriate information before giving consent.
If a procedure is unsuitable, I will explain the reason and discuss whether an alternative approach or no treatment would be more appropriate. Your safety and informed choice come first.
